TEMPER is operated by Joseph Lamonaca, 40 S Everett St, Lakewood, CO 80226, United States. For privacy questions, email support.temper@gmail.com. This notice describes how the current TEMPER website and app use information.
Information used by TEMPER
- Account: your email address and the password submitted to Supabase Auth for sign-in. The TEMPER reset record does not store the password. The code uses your account identifier to associate your data with your account.
- Your reset: the goal, minimum action, fallback, milestones, start date, timezone, habit names, daily check-ins, and weekly or final reflections that you enter. This content is stored in Supabase for the signed-in account.
- Purchase and activation: Gumroad handles purchases. When you activate access, TEMPER’s server sends the license key to Gumroad to verify the product and purchase status. TEMPER stores the purchase and product identifiers, entitlement status, verification time, and an encrypted copy of the key in Supabase. TEMPER does not process payment-card details in its application code.
- Browser storage: Supabase session cookies keep you signed in. The free demo stores its sample edits in the current browser tab’s session storage; those edits do not become account data. The landing page also uses session storage to remember that you have seen its introduction.
Why this information is used
TEMPER uses account information to sign you in, reset entries to show and save your plan, license data to verify access, and support messages to respond to requests. The application checks a purchase again when verification expires or access needs to be refreshed.
Services receiving information
- Supabase: account authentication, session cookies, and saved TEMPER records.
- Resend: delivers TEMPER account-confirmation and password-reset emails sent by Supabase. Resend processes the recipient email address, email content, and delivery information.
- Gumroad: checkout and license-key verification. Gumroad separately holds purchase information under its own practices.
- Site hosting: serves TEMPER pages and API requests and may process technical request data, such as IP addresses and request times.
TEMPER uses first-party usage analytics stored in Supabase. Events describe pages, clicks, setup, saved actions, lesson views, and verified purchases; they do not include passwords, license keys, goal text, habit names, or written reflections. Browser identifiers and first-touch campaign tags can link visits on this browser for up to 90 days. Referrers are reduced to a hostname; page query strings are not collected. Device category, browser family, screen dimensions, and country when supplied by hosting may be recorded; precise location and IP addresses are not stored with events. There is no separate advertising pixel or session recording. Hosting and service providers may keep their own technical records under their practices. No sale of reset entries or use for targeted advertising is implemented in TEMPER’s app code.
You can turn off optional browser analytics using the analytics control on the site. TEMPER also respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Turning it off clears this browser’s analytics identifiers and stops future optional browser events. Necessary account operations and aggregate product records still exist to run your account. Raw analytics events are removed after 180 days and inactive visitor attribution after 90 days when collection runs. Verified sale measurements and account-linked analytics remain until account deletion or a privacy request; Gumroad records are separate. Anonymous prior visits cannot always be linked to an account for deletion. Access to analytics is limited to authorized administrators.
Retention, access, and deletion
Signed-in users can correct their goal and other reset details in the app. A customer can use account deletionafter confirming their password and typing DELETE. A successful deletion removes the Supabase account and its linked TEMPER reset, draft, entitlement, license-key secret, and activation-attempt rows through database deletion rules. It does not delete Gumroad’s separate purchase record or issue a refund. Provider backups may retain copies for a period governed by those providers.
TEMPER keeps account and reset records while the account exists. Support messages are kept for up to 12 months after the last exchange, unless an unresolved dispute or legal obligation requires longer. For access, correction, export, or another deletion request, email support.temper@gmail.com from your account address. TEMPER may ask you to confirm control of that address before disclosing or changing account information. The response target is 30 days, subject to a different period required by applicable law. Gumroad holds purchase records separately; contact Gumroad about Gumroad account or purchase-record deletion.
Age and privacy choices
TEMPER accounts are for people aged 13 or older. Signup asks you to confirm that you are at least 13. TEMPER does not independently verify your age or ask for your birth date. This confirmation is checked during signup and is not saved in your reset record. If a child under 13 has created an account, contact support to request deletion and discuss any purchase.
Security and contact
TEMPER’s code encrypts a purchase license key before storing it. This statement does not describe or guarantee every security measure used by the hosting or service providers.
For a privacy request or an alternate accessible copy, email support.temper@gmail.com. Provider retention can differ from TEMPER’s active account and support-message periods.
